The Heritage Bangkok ★★★

Perfect location for my weekend needs, nice warm welcome, reception staff were excellent, upgraded to a bigger room FOC. BTS station right outside. After an hour in the room, found water all over the kitchenette floor, swift response from maintenance and housekeeping, issue resolved in an hour.

Limited facilities, advised that they do not open the restaurant until 10 am in the morning for breakfast. Excepted this so asked what time the pool opens so I can go for a swim before breakfast Pool is not open until next month!! .. Booking.com says all year round. The room has floor to ceiling glass walls with no tinted glass and was incredibly hot, Ac would not cool it until evening. In the night more water on the floor in the dressing room area as AC leaking. Breakfast the next morning, no buffet just what was termed an American breakfast with no tea or coffee. Hot and cold taps not identified, poor wifi strength. Only one English language TV channel Aljezzara news. ... Poor value for money.

I am very disappointed I paid a much higher value than the booking offered me by and put me in the worst hotel room I got to know on floor number 8 and I saw that they pay less than I and the room is very beautiful I can not understand because they put people from booking.com in the worst hotel room!! Floor 4 so bad rooms! I went to do a massage all the time that the woman did massage on me she was asking me for money That an absurd I felt very explored by this woman of massage every moment doing massage and she deflects if you liked gave me a gift if you liked gave me a gift

Hotel is old and You can see it everywhere. Air conditioning wasnt working in our sleeping room, just in another with sofa,tv which has balcony where door were broken so our room from the balcony was opened...

Nothing much to add, except the balcony which brought in a nice and relaxing wind. Also, the place was very close to a cheap breakfast place and a 7-11.

The entire hotel stank of Savlon, giving it a feeling like a hospital rather than a hotel. The staff were not friendly and looked rather grumpy. They had our beds separated, and asked us to put it together! When we asked them to do it for us and that we can't do it, they said yes. We came back to hotel at 12 AM to discover that the beds were still not put together! We ended up sleeping at separate beds because we were exhausted by then. Really terrible experience.

The ONLY good thing of this hotel is its position, but it's really the ONLY ONE!

It's difficult to say what works well here. Staff and service not helpful at all and even not polite. Had a big problem with the laundry (blue ink on several pieces) which they couldn't fix it, nor they seeemed to care much about it. AVOID their LAUNDRY as evil, it's really unprofessional. Apart from staff and this laundry problem, the hotel is very old and dirty (pictures look better), and for the same price Bangkok offers way more!

I liked everything about this hotel. It has a great restaurant next door to it and the staff are friendly and helpful. The service is also excellent and they also held onto my luggage whilst I waited for my taxi to the airport.

On the positive side, this hotel is really well placed in the city and the rooftop pool is quite pleasant and offers wide views over Bangkok.

1. When arriving in the room we immediately noticed that the 2 air conditioning machines placed in our balcony were making an unbearable noise. We immediately told the hotel staff and personnaly presented the issue to the responsable superior, but it still took them 2 days to solve the problem. 2. According to the booking.com reservation, we should have had a room with a panoramic view, but when arriving we actually found that we had a backdoors kind of view at the 5th floor. Because of the air conditioning problem we were forced to move to the 2nd floor, so the view got even worse. 3. The WIFI connection wasn't properly working at the new room and it took the staff one day to find a solution. Overall, we spent too much time complaining about all these problems, and when hey finally were solved, our stay was quite over and we could not enjoy it properly.

Next to Chong Nonsi station, easy access to public transport. Fast internet.

Staffs is not friendly nor helpful. The room is dark even all lights are open. Amenities in the room are so so, and the room itself is dusty.

Cosmetics of room weren’t great, sink took a life time to drain water, night staff had no interest in helping. Unfortunate charge of 200 baht for extra pillows (1 pillow per person) Noisy but expected due to location

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. My office was literally across the street and it was very convenient to me. The hotel is being redecorated but the customer service is really on a very low level.

I booked 14 nights in this hotel and was coming on a business trip. I knew I will be coming very early in the morning so I bought and booked the room one night in advance so I can be sure the room will wait for me when I arrive and I also told them I am arriving for business so I want a quiet room. I emailed the hotel about it a month in advance and nobody ever responded to me. Upon check in, I was told that I was supposed to arrive yesterday and they have sold my room. I told them that I emailed them but obviously nobody checks the email. The reception staff was talking in Thai in front of me about me and it was not a good feeling and not very professional. Finally they took me to a smallest room possible which was dirty with stained curtains. After a while I fell asleep because I had a 15 hour flight and the phone woke me up it was a reception lady yelling at me hysterically to come down and pay for the room. I told her I already paid thru booking.com and my card was charged and she literally said: NO! COME HERE NOW AND PAY! I went to reception to show her the confirmation that I paid for the accommodation and she said she will check. I raised the issue again that I did not get the room I booked, it was totally different than from the pictures and she said there are no rooms available. During my stay there was construction redecoration going on on my floor and I specifically asked to get a quiet room where I can rest after work. I did not have a good experience staying at this hotel. After I complained to booking.com, I was offered an upgrade (which would not be an upgrade, it would be something I paid for) but the offer for upgrade came after 10 days and I was due to leave in 2 days. I did not want to pack and move just for two days. This hotel needs a customer service training for their employees.

very friendly staff, always willing to help! rooms were beautiful and clean, and in a great location, super close to the sky train. The rooftop pool and gym were an awesome bonus too!
